Venue Notes

Ernő Rubik’s famous 3x3 cube is known as one of the world’s most difficult puzzles – with a staggering 43 quintillion possible combinations!

At Erno’s Cube, we’ve spent years designing an approach to solving the cube that is specifically tailored for children – one that helps build skills in problem solving, memorisation, patience and concentration, while encouraging an early interest in STEM.

In this cubing club, we combine individual and group-based activities to help children learn at their own pace, guided by our top-rated “The Cube for Children” book and our very own Erno’s Cubes.

Our club brings something for all – whether your child is looking for a peaceful way to engage their mind after a busy day at school, or the opportunity to compete with friends and set their personal-best on our dedicated cubing-timer (the one they use at professional competitions!). All without any screen-time.

The club is suitable for complete beginners to proficient solvers, and every child receives a copy of “The Cube for Children” book and an Erno’s Cube.

Children work their way through 7 stages and can join us wherever they are on their cubing-journey:

Explorer: Has begun their journey towards solving the cube
Solver: Can solve the cube with reference to the full methodology
Star Solver: Can solve the cube with reference only to the sequences
Heart Solver: Can solve the cube by heart
Speed Solver: Can solve the cube in under 3 minutes
Sonic Solver: Can solve the cube in under 2 minutes
Lightning Solver: Can solve the cube in under 1 minute

We also give children the opportunity to explore other STEM-related games and toys, such as the 2x2 and 4x4 cubes, and logical reasoning games including puzzles and mazes.

We hope you’ll be able to join us in exploring endless possibilities.
